How clever. I am so curious as to what makes Mr. Henderson deserving of the title "rat." Although I guess that is my personal take on the plot of this story.
It took a while to sink in for me too... too bad that, when I saw this, I was in the school library, otherwise I would have laughed my head off... Great work.
The early years were memorable, Mr. Henderson's traits of charm, elegance, passion, intelligence and sentimentality all dovetailed nicely with the Chinese astrology sign of the rat.
It gradually went downhill when his negative temperament, also attributed to the rat began to surface, giving Mrs. Henderson no choice... his grouchiness, calculations to excess, greediness, impulsive behavior, his sense of grandiosity, but most of all his out of control problems with the bladder, kidneys, urinary and renal systems.

I just love your work. It makes me laugh every time I visit. And it inspires me -- now I want to write a story about Mr. and Mrs. Henderson...
Best one in ages. So subtle and delicious

This one took me a moment to get, but I burst out laughing as soon as I did.
