There is no more satisfying symbol of acceptance than a nickname. One sometimes has to go the extra mile to earn one.

I don't even care. That guy makes GREAT coffee!!
The police thought they had a good case yet the "Coffee Grounds Killer" got off. Did the jury go into denial? Were twelve good citizens simply unable to accept that the "GREAT coffee" they'd bought every week was the last resting place of three rich widows?
The news of Mr. Harris' unorthodox grinding method was naturally shocking and stomach churning to all except for the unfazed, privileged, indulgent, specialty coffee aficionados of 'Kopi Luwak coffee', billed in recent years as the most expensive, exotic and perhaps disquieting of brews made from coffee beans that have been eaten and passed through its digestive tract by the palm civet cat of Indonesia as well as 'Monkey Parchment coffee' brewed from beans that have been chewed on and spat out by Rhesus monkeys in Chikmagular, India.
These disturbing bits of backstory make it all worthwhile for me...
