I think the illustrator got carried away with the red. He looks like he's got blood on his face and in his mouth. What has he been eating?

Mr. Nicholls seasonal aberration.

Once he doffs his gay apparel and stores it away for another year, he's back to being his usual capricious, harmful, destructive and evil self.

He is full of tricks
At X-mas eve he has found a way to disappear the body of his latest victim: it tasted good!

David Shag: the fat jolly boy with the white beard and red pyjamas was invented by Coca-Cola. Before then Father Christmas was a mean old son of a pagan goddess.

Thanks Helen, Lisa, peter/b and everyone :)

Saigon: Um, not a definite place... The illustrations all come from the same book, and they're usually what inspires me, although sometimes I think of the "caption" first and have to go looking for a suitable picture. I'm trying not to keep repeating the same topics, but it's not easy!
