Unfortunately, this entry is not internationally usable (the first one of its kind, I think), because the first sentence simply doesn't work in North America. First, we would say Kitty rather than Pussy, which refers to something quite different. Second, have is not used in the sense of receive; instead, we use get.

Personaly, I'm french, there is no entry usable in my language.
does it matter?

(no violence in this comment :) I just think the problem you talk about doesn't matter)

hhmm.. i use have in the sense of receive quite often myself. as for pussy - that's slang for something else but i think we all now that a pussy sometimes is just a kitty cat.

i like this one! grandpa actually does look like he's having a stroke.

BOTH of these sentences work fine in North America, its just a case of multiple uses of the same word (as often happens in English). The meaning was not lost here. :)

3. Michael Jackson had a stroke.

Was this posted before or after (ie, intentionally) the news about Michael Jackson?

I agree that MJ should be in the post as number 3

I second what Isaac Yassar seconded.

Oh, pussy has meant the same thing in the UK for decades... there's was a running joke on "Are You Being Served?" that relied on that double entendre. And the awkwardness some speakers mikght have with the phrasing is certainly worth it here.

It took me a second to get that the cat was being petted, actually. Pet anyeurisms would still be funny!

Ben was stroked

When I first read it I thought Grandpa was 'having a stroke' as in he was pleasuring himself. Dirty old man

Four meaning combinations, and they are all good!

i don't think some people realize that 'pussy' was put here as a pun.. xD
