Dear Ross Horsley,

A friend recently showed me your "My First Dictionary" blog, and I was, in common-fifties guy parlance, floored. This is a good thing. Your work, after my grumpy and moist 47 years on earth, finally peeled away the saccharine layer of didacticism. I knew those weaselly ogres, calling themselves adults, were hiding the ugly truth of existence behind their pedagogic manuals. My hat off to you, sir! The only sadness here is that there are only 26 letters in the English alphabet. "Please, sir, I want some more". Best Wishes, Dorian Wilde

Oh, dear. Zombie children. There's an idea I didn't need to have.

And to Dorian Wilde: you write exactly like a good friend of mine. Exactly. If you are not he, I fear for my sanity.

There's noone in the parc.
