slow

It has been a slow day for Edith.

The large black window is slowly moving closer.

She has forgotten the pills again.

I prefer the cat version you gave us on Twitter.

Mother has left her other leg inside.

Irve: That's like some sad, creepy haiku with extra syllables... I love it!

Jackie: I'd love to get my hands on a picture to illustrate the other one :-)

Porch

A porch is a part of a house.

Mother keeps waiting for dad on the porch who went to get cigarettes 7 months ago.

No one was home so we left her on the porch.
We'll bring the other leg tomorrow.

wait

Mother will wait.
She will be patient.
The screams will come soon enough.

Lisa is tired.

Burying bodies is such hard work.

Dessicated

Mother has been dessicated.

Colin left mother out for a very long time.

She has become very dry.

Are you sure that's a Porch? It looks more like an Audi to me..

Hello,
I don't know how to write a personal message so I write a comment instead.
I work in IT consulting and have to do a seminar about "IT assessment into skyscrapers". Do you think you could do a definition about "skyscrapers" that I could use as an introduction. I already have some leads about the defintion, but don't want to spoil your fun.

That would really be great plus it is an advertise in front 90 consultants and maybe more.

omg make one about ppl jumping off skyscrapers, that should do the fun side of the conference

Ross Horsley said...

Hey Thomas, thanks for getting in touch and sorry to disappoint but requests are just not something I'm doing right now. Best of luck with the conference, though... Hope you can turn one of your ideas into a definition to use.

Not to do away with one of your long-running characters, but the insertion of a comma after "passed" would bring an entirely new and interesting interpretation to your definition.

Ross Horsley said...

Haha, I like it, KevinOn7. Funnily enough, I have one in reserve that uses comma positioning... Maybe I'll wheel it out.
