Topsy has been nailed to the fence.

She has been nailed there because she has been a bad dog.

Right on form with this one. The namesless horror in those black holes of eyes.

Topsy looks through the fence as if it was a small high window.
She used to belong to an old lady in a top floor flat. The old lady died in her sleep and wasn't missed for quite a long time. We give Topsy tinned dog food because we don't like to watch her knawing on bones.

Has Topsy been skinned, or just acid-washed?

Best one EVER!

I know I'm reading too much into this (probably), but Topsy was the name of an elephant that went on a killing spree in Honolulu in 1996.

Topsy knows what you look like inside.
Soon she will see it again.

Anon, a rescue animal is one that's been taken away from its owners or abandoned by them. They get handed in to the Pets' Rescue, same as kids get betrayed to Childrens Services. You can have either for free (and no criminal record checks with pets) but you can't know what mental problems they'll be bringing with them.

What do you mean "kids get betrayed 'TO' Childrens Services"? As an abuse survivor from childhood, that sentence sends chills down my (permanently disabled-- thanks dad!) spine!

Sorry not the time or space for this type commentary but still....,

I don't think anonymous meant it like that at all, don't make him feel guilty...

Oh, thanks for the explanation, Anonymous #2! I indeed had no idea of what a rescue dog was...

I thought you were bit better than that. Little slump?

Yeah I would say that this is probably my all time favorite.
