Sounds like Jack and Chip have a lot in common.
When I first read this, I thought the word was 'vacation'. Didn't realize it until a reread. Definitely puts a whole new twist into the sentence.
That's the point where I blame myself from being french. I don't understand the joke.
I suppose it's about blood pressure, but, I don't have any other clue.

Is it just my imagination or have things taken an odd masturbatory turn here of late?
It looks like Jack has his hand on Grandpa's shirt. Is that before or after stroking Pussy?
On that note, Ross, do you ever find your sense of humor getting you into trouble at work? I also work in a library, and find it amazing how much there is to laugh at, and how few of my fellow employees have a sense of humor.
I'm lucky enough to work with a few people with a similarly malicious sense of humour... It's one way of coping with the wide variety of deranged, rude and smelly customers, I guess.

Jack has four fingers.
He also used to have a thumb.
