Ross Horsley said...: Hi Thumb Biter. Thanks for the comment; you make a really good point -- the idea of this going over a child's head IS funnier and much more subtle.

In retrospect, the "mask" entry was a misstep but I've left it online for now because it shows the evolution of my idea, which I'm still figuring out.

This one ("suspect") I stand by, as I sorta like it as a character insight into Roger's head (yeah, I've thought about this too much). It's probably a bit inconsistent but, then again, maybe that's the charm (if you could call it that!).
